Welcome to the Trust's redesigned web site. For a limited period, the old website can be accessed HERE.

The Trust is dedicated to work together with its partners to restore and bring back to life this 200 year old waterway that kick-started the industrial revolution in these valleys, and resulted in the growth of Newport from a small village.

This website is intended to highlight the work of the trust and that of its partners by providing access to a wealth of resources both within its own pages and other websites but also through an increasing range of other media types such as blogs, facebook pages and twitter feeds.
